  • The Extend 1200.720 RB bandsaw is a powerful hydraulic semi-automatic machine with a two-column design that has been specially developed for cutting elbows.
  • Machine base: The saw is mounted on a sturdy base at a height that allows easy handling of the material. The base is filled with polymer concrete which, together with the machine design, helps to absorb vibration and ensures smooth operation of the machine.
  • Automatic step pressure regulation: The cutting pressure regulation cube changes the feed speed of the saw head in the cut depending on the shape and type of material to be cut. The material resistance is transferred by means of a control needle in the control cube, which is attached to the guide cube. The control cube adjusts the speed of the feed without the operator having to intervene. Its design enables a very precise change in speed depending on the specific cutting conditions of the material in question. The automatic control can be set depending on the material.
  • Band saw blade drive: The band saw blade is driven by a powerful 5.5 kW electric motor and a massive worm gear with the option of changing the speed via a frequency converter in the range of 20 - 120 m/min. The blade speed display is located on the control panel.
  • Saw blade guide: The saw blade is positioned on the moving wheels and guided to the cutting point by means of the guide cubes. The professional three-sided carbide guide of the band saw blade guarantees high cutting accuracy and a long service life for the band saw blade. The left movable cube of the saw blade guide, which is embedded in the holder on the prismatic guide track, is automatically adjustable depending on the width of the material being cut.
  • Cooling: The cooling unit is a standard part of the machine. The supply of cooling emulsion can be regulated by taps. The cooling emulsion is pumped directly from the machine base, where an 80-litre tank is installed. The band saw blade can also be equipped with an optional microniser, which sprays the oil onto the band saw blade and thus prevents the cooling emulsion from escaping outside the band saw.
  • Saw blade cleaning: The saw blade is cleaned using a chip brush, which ensures that the chips are evenly removed from the saw blade and thus prevents them from penetrating into the machine frame and between the saw blade and wheels.

  • Product description

    The Extend 1200.720 RB bandsaw is a powerful hydraulic semi-automatic machine with a two-column design that has been specially developed for cutting elbows with a maximum diameter of 720 mm. Bent pipes from 45° to a maximum of 180° can be cut efficiently with this saw. The saws are primarily used in shipbuilding, in the offshore industry, by air conditioning system manufacturers and in the water industry.
    The machine is equipped with automatic cutting pressure control as standard, which, in combination with the 54 mm wide saw blade, ensures an exact and straight cut. The saw band is fed to the cut via a linear roller bearing. The belt speed is regulated from the control panel by a frequency converter in the range of 20-120 m/min.
    Low-vibration saw cuts mean precision and a long service life. In all Extend machines, the substructure, the saw frames and the columns are filled with a specially developed polymer concrete mix. In conjunction with pre-tensioned, backlash-free linear guides, the polymer concrete technology ensures virtually vibration-free saw cuts with a high cutting capacity of well over 100 cm2 per minute with M42 bi-metal band saw blades.

  • Optional accessories

    - Halogen light
    It is possible to use this adjustable white additional light if the working area is insufficiently lit. This makes it easier to handle the material, adjust or check the cutting quality.

    - Laser Liner - laser measurement display
    The laser indicator accurately reflects the position of the blade of the material and indicates the cut to follow, so that the length of the material can be easily adjusted without using a stop. The laser unit transfers the laser to the prepared material, which is positioned in the axis of the saw band. Thanks to this straight line, minor deviations can also be compared and corrected before cutting begins.

    - Gun for machine cleaning
    The powerful rinsing gun with long inlet hose makes it easy to clean the machine at the end of the working day. Even the most inaccessible areas of the machine can be easily cleaned of chips.
