Our MIG/MAG gas-shielded welding units consist of a welding power source with a mains transformer and a downstream rectifier, a welding current choke, a wire feed motor and an electronic control unit. The welding systems are equipped with a hose package for steel wire, an earth cable and a pressure reducer for the shielding gas.

Welding system with MIG/MAG - SYNERGY
Modern MIG/MAG shielded arc welding systems such as the DIGI-MIG-INDUSTRIE and ETP welding units have a digital processor control and synergy programmes. These enable time-saving adjustment of the process parameters and define the optimum wire feed speed based on synergy characteristics.
The DIGI-MIG Industrie 3000 SYNERGY series enables maximum welding performance and duty cycle, is also highly resilient in flexible continuous operation and has a wide range of materials - from thin to heavy plate.
All DIGI-MIG devices fulfil the highest requirements for the reproducibility of welding processes and enable the welding parameters to be clearly defined for integration into a quality assurance system.
The ETP 220 & 225 SYNPULS multifunctional welding units are outstanding compact units up to 8 mm for small series, workshops, customer service and construction sites. Their flexible use for MIG/MAG, TIG DC and MMA makes them ideal for thin aluminium, stainless steel and precision seams.
Operating range of the arc welding units
The MIG/MAG welding units are equipped with sturdy wheels and are therefore easy to transport. The operating radius, starting from the device, corresponds to the length of the hose package. All ELMAG gas-shielded welding units are equipped with such a hose package. Depending on the device, the length is 3 or 4 metres, which makes it ideal for use in a welding box or on production lines.
