    Quill feed with three feed settings, continuously adjustable automatic feed in three milling table axes, milling head swivel range +-90° and +-45° for positions that are difficult to access, milling head rotation range +-90° - with these key performance indicators, the UFM 250 L is clearly a highly automated, extremely versatile multi-purpose milling machine. With a drive output of 2,250 watts and a continuously variable speed up to a top speed of 4,500 rpm, not only is it possible to use standard milling and drilling tools, but air-cooled flow drilling is also an option. A pneumatic tool clamp with draw-in rod for semi-automatic clamping and release of milling and drilling tools fitted to the milling head saves time and is extremely safe. A mechanical spindle brake that is operated with a hand lever is also an advantage. The machine has a central lubrication system for the guide tracks, a coolant system with tank in the base and a digital position display, which is particularly important for fast and precise handling. Thanks to the high degree of automation, the UFM model is perfect for series production, while the UFM 250 L model with a milling table measuring 1,370 x 254 mm can cope with very large workpieces.
