With a drive output of 2,250 watts and a continuously variable speed up to a top speed of 4,500 rpm, not only is it possible to use standard milling and drilling tools, but air-cooled flow drilling is also an option. A pneumatic tool clamp with draw-in rod for semi-automatic clamping and release of milling and drilling tools fitted to the milling head saves time and is extremely safe. A mechanical spindle brake that is operated with a hand lever is also an advantage. The machine has a central lubrication system for the guide tracks, a coolant system with tank in the base and a digital position display, which is particularly important for fast and precise handling. Thanks to the high degree of automation, the UFM model is perfect for series production.
