      • Super heavy-duty high-performance models, 7,500 watts

        7,500 watt drive power for heavy machining and an impressively strong design for heavy-duty, continuous operation - the INDUSTRIE 250 HD models do not vibrate even with large workpieces and at a cutting depth of more than 10 mm. At the same time, these smooth-running universal lathes with self-centring spindle are just as good for production of small precision turned parts and fine threads.

        The INDUSTRIE 250 HD models offer a maximum turning diameter of 500 mm, without bridge 720 mm. A spindle bore diameter of 80 mm enables machining of bar stock up to 2 1/2 inches (76.1 mm). The spindle drive has a clutch and delivers 24 adjustable speed levels. 80 longitudinal and transverse feeds and 179 metric and imperial thread pitches cover the usual requirements of mechanical engineering, steel, container and plant construction companies. A newly designed joystick on the tool slide offers maximum convenience for secure control of the longitudinal and transverse feed. A high-speed drive with a longitudinal or transverse cutting speed of 4.5 or 1.9 m/min. allows a significant reduction in downtimes.

        The INDUSTRIE 250 models are equipped with a mechanical spindle foot brake. Flexibly adjustable switching elements for automatic feed stop, a quick-change steel holder supplied as standard for rapid lathe tool changes and a digital position display are ideal for efficient series production.
