    The quality of the INDUSTRIE 230 HD models becomes clear as soon as they are switched on: hardly any operating noise No vibrations even when making deep cuts. In fact, at 2,635, 2,835 and 3,055 kg, the 230 HD models are the heaviest in their class and thanks to their extremely robust construction – just look at the high-frequency-hardened prism guides – they are ideal for heavy-duty, continuous operation.

    The 230 HD models offer an extra-large spindle bore of 80 mm for working with rods of up to 2 1/2 inch diameter (76.1 mm). A turning size over slide of diameter 290 x 1,000, 1,500 or 2,000 mm and a maximum turning diameter of 460 or 700 mm leave nothing to be desired, be it in mechanical engineering, steel construction, system design or tool making; equally impressive are the 12 speeds for 170 longitudinal and transverse feeds and 150 lead spindle pitches for metric and imperial threads.
    A particular advantage: no external change gears; instead, the devices are equipped with an easy-to-use reduction box switch in the motor housing. On the 230 HD models, the tool slide is equipped with a time-saving feed cut-off mechanism and a three-stage adjustable shaft. An adjustable feed shaft slip clutch prevents overloading. A mechanical turning spindle foot brake and a coolant system complete the package with this high-performance machine.

    All 230 HD models are comprehensively equipped and delivered with a quick-change tool holder set for changing lathe tools quickly and effortlessly, as well as a digital position display.
