      • MT-RC3oh for strong stapling, assembly and drop-seam welding

        Rutile cellulose stick electrode with thick covering. Versatile,
        ideal for stapling and assembly work in almost all welding positions
        including drop-seam. Can also be welded with 230 V AC transformers and with
        42 V protective voltage.
        Good ignition and weldability, sharp arc,
        enables welding of primer-coated,
        galvanised, rusted, scaled steel.
        Good slag removal.

      • Tech info: Penetration depth

        The penetration should be deep, but the weld should not sag, but should lie approximately equally above and below the surface of the material. Exception: Deposition welding, with a ratio of about 1/3 penetration and 2/3 material protrusion.

        The cause of a penetration that is too deep or sagging of the weld seam is usually setting a welding current that is too high. At the same time, increased pore formation on the weld seam surface and a lot of weld spatter along the seam can be identified.
