Insulation monitoring
Maximum safety when operating a mobile generator is provided by the installation of two-stage insulation monitoring. It measures the insulation resistance between the electrical conductors and the generator, displays it on the LC display and provides adjustable response values for pre-alarm and shutdown of the generator.
Instead of a RCCB with earthing spike, insulation monitoring can be used for mobile generators. It enables simultaneous operation of several electrical appliances of protection class 1.
Commissioning of a generator with insulation monitoring is possible without a qualified electrician. For mobile generators with a location that changes frequently, insulation monitoring is therefore recommended.
