      • HD: Heavy Duty

        ELMAG Premium high-performance belt grinders are ideal for intensive contact grinding, surface grinding, chamfering and deburring. They are designed for high-performance operation. HD stands for heavy duty, and indeed the HD belt grinder models are all a bit heavier, more powerful and more durable. Take, for example, the extremely sturdy machine base and the swivel grinding belt housing. Or the beefy belt motor with
        3,500 W drive power.

      • All models with extraction

        An important criterion is extraction. Grinding dust and metallic particles should always be extracted. All models have a suction connection on both sides and can be connected to an existing extraction system.

      • With motor brake

        All models are equipped with a motor brake that stops the grinding belt within approx. three seconds.

      • Advantages of the motor brake

        When grinding aluminium and stainless steel, the material should remain on the grinding belt until the belt comes to a standstill - with the belt running, one false move would be enough to damage the clean grinding pattern.
