TIG tungsten electrodes
Product description
Tungsten electrodes - with the exception of pure electrodes -
are doped with oxide additives in order to achieve an easy ignition of the
arc and to increase the current and temperature
load capacity. Radiation-free electrodes with
cerium dioxide, lanthanum oxide and mixed oxide are recommended as a replacement for the still frequently
used, weakly radioactive
thorium-based electrodes.
