What grit do I need for an abrasive belt for metalworking?

The grit refers to the size of the abrasive grains on the abrasive belt. The abrasive grains are sieved and sorted. Depending on the size, a corresponding number is assigned (e.g. 60, 80 or 120). The lower the number, the coarser the particles and the abrasive belt. Conversely, the higher the number, the finer the grit.

In our online shop you will find corundum abrasive belts with grit sizes from 40 to 320, which are ideal for metalworking.
