cyclone-separator

  • cyclone-separator

On leaving the compressor, the compressed air contains not only water in the form of water vapor, but also water condensate droplets. These water droplets are formed during the compression process by the decrease in the storage capacity of the air when the volume is reduced.
This water normally settles in the storage tank as the compressed air calms down. From there, the condensate is discharged. If there is no storage tank, a cyclone separator before the refrigeration dryer and filters is absolutely essential.
