    a form-fitting fixation of a drill chuck in the tool holder (Morse taper MK) of a machine tool.

    The drill chuck is mounted on the taper mandrel by a short blow. This unit is centred in the Morse cone of the machine spindle and fixed with a positive connection. For disassembly, a wedge is required unless the machine is equipped with a tool ejector.
