PAL series granule sandblasting machines
More power for surface cleaning and finishing
PAL D pressure blasting systems have a significantly higher blasting performance than injector blasting systems. They significantly reduce process times and unit costs
- With pressure reduction for adjusting the abrasive speed
- Exact adjustment of the blasting effect on metals, glass, etc.
- Equally well suited for bright cleaning and surface polishing
- Professional surface finishing using shot-blasting material (e.g. glass beads)
- Ideal for series production thanks to blast optimisation
-
PAL sandblasting cabins - application
PAL sandblasting cabins are suitable for the use of all commercially available reusable abrasives such as shot-blasting aluminium oxide, micro glass beads, plastic granulate, etc. Reusable blasting media are recovered or recirculated.
-
Pressure jet process
In the pressure jet method, the blasting agent is conveyed from a pressure vessel by means of compressed air through the pressure hose to the blasting nozzle and accelerated into a nozzle. The pressure blasting method is significantly more efficient than the injector blasting method thanks to a higher abrasive velocity and usually requires a larger amount of abrasive.
-
Glossy or matt, smooth or rough?
PAL granulate blasting units enable gentle, rapid deep cleaning of workpieces and surface treatment appropriate to the material properties.
By using different blasting media such as normal/precious corundum, micro glass beads, synthetic or metallic polishing agents, various types of treatment such as shot peening, material finishing or surface decoration are possible. -
Tech info: Shot blasting
In shot blasting, suitable blasting granulate, e.g. glass beads for finishing stainless steel, is thrown at high speed against the surface to be treated. The shot peening causes an increase in compressive residual stress in the material surface and thus in the fatigue strength and corrosion resistance. Material cracks, e.g. due to material fatigue, never occur in a layer with residual compressive stress.
